“I’m happy to be hitting the road with Toad, Tonic and Smashmouth this summer. Hope we’ll see you all out there!” enthuses Glen Phillips.

About Smash Mouth:
Collectively the Grammy Nominated, Multi-Platinum band Smash Mouth (Steve Harwell – Lead Vocals, Paul DeLisle – Bass, Sean Hurwitz – Guitar, Jason Sutter – Drums and Michael Klooster – Keyboards) has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. Along with their number one hits – “Walkinʼ on the Sun” and “All Star” – they have consistently impacted radio with other Top 10 recognizable hits like “Then the Morning Comes,” “Canʼt Get Enough Of You Baby,” and a cover of the Neil Diamond penned Monkees classic “Iʼm a Believer,” which was prominently featured on the Shrek soundtrack (#4, Billboard Adult Top 40). In 2014 the band released a Grestest Hits “ICON” CD through Universal records. This summer the band is very excited to be releasing a “Live” album through Sony Records. In addition to touring and releasing music, Smash Mouth are also “Foodies” and put together a collection of some of their favorite recipes from Celebrity chef’s and restaurants they have visited while touring the country for the past 20 years. This cookbook/storybook/photo journal is called “Recipes From The Road” and is available on-line through Amazon.com or wherever books are sold. Also this summer the bands Official Biography (written by founding member and bassist Paul DeLisle) will be available through Anchor Group Publishing. http://www.smashmouth.com/

About Toad The Wet Sprocket: Toad the Wet Sprocket (Glen Phillips on lead vocals and guitar, Dean Dinning on bass and vocals, Todd Nichols on lead guitar and vocals, and Randy Guss on the drums) share in the kind of musical chemistry that can only come from meeting in high school and writing, recording and touring on albums over the course of those 25 years. After “Bread & Circus,” they followed with “Pale” in 1990, “fear” in ’91, “Dulcinea” in 1994, and “Coil” in 1997, as well as some compilation and rarities compilations along the way. While most will feel the comforting familiarity of the Billboard-charting hits, “Walk on the Ocean”, “All I Want”, “Something’s Always Wrong”, and “Fall Down”, new fans will also be well familiar with their new hits such as “California Wasted” which continues to climb the charts. Even with a period of the band members weaving in and out of each other’s musical lives, the same creative curiosity that inspired the band to form in 1986 has brought them full circle to come back together again. Toad’s current album, New Constellation, features the singles “New Constellation”, “The Moment” and “California Wasted” is available now. http://www.toadthewetsprocket.com

About Tonic:
Tonic (Emerson Hart on lead vocals and guitar, Jeff Russo on guitar and vocals, and Dan Lavery on bass and vocals) has sold over 4 million records, had Grammy nominations, platinum albums and six top 10 singles, including the #1 most-played rock song of 1998 with “If You Could Only See”. Hart founded Tonic with guitarist Jeff Russo – a childhood friend – adding bassist Dan Lavery shortly after inception. After storming the charts with their debut album Lemon Parade, the band released three additional studio albums (Sugar, the twice Grammy-nominated Head On Straight and the self-titled Tonic) and a Greatest Hits CD/DVD package. While continuing to tour and record as a band, they have also had individual successes with Emerson as a solo artist and songwriter in Nashville, Jeff as an Emmy nominated tv and film composer (Fargo, CSI), and Dan as a writer and producer. Tonic is currently recording material to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Lemon Parade next year. http://www.tonic-online.com/

Tonic Travels To Haiti As Artist Ambassadors

As many of you have noticed through our Facebook and Twitter posts, Tonic recently had the opportunity to travel to Haiti. We were honored to be asked by Hard Rock International (hardrock.com) to join their delegation as “Artist Ambassadors” on their visit to some of the charitable organizations which they support in Haiti. The purpose of the trip was to gain a better understanding of the ongoing challenges faced by the people of Haiti, particularly since the devastating earthquake of January 2010, and with specific regard to sustainable food solutions for children. J/P HRO (jphro.org) in Port-Au-Prince, MPP Haiti on the Central Plateau , the US Embassy, and related local organizations graciously hosted all of us to help provide a very personal experience and a direct understanding of the current situation. The trip also highlighted the annual Hard Rock “IMAGINE THERE’S NO HUNGER” Campaign, a collaboration with Yoko Ono Lennon and long time charity partner WhyHunger (whyhunger.org), to see first-hand how funds raised from the campaign were being used to help develop and provide sustainable food solutions for the children of this challenged country. It was an enlightening experience for us, and we hope to continue our relationship with all of the generous people that we met on this journey.
